St Luke's choir takes part in tours of cathedrals around the country twice a year. These weekends are fantastic opportunities to participate in some intensive rehearsals and sing in some of the most beautiful buildings in the country. They are also great weekends away with good friends and much eating, drinking and general merriment is had by all! We also stage occasional concerts.

18-19 Feb 2012 : Birmingham Cathedral
The choir will sing the services at Birmingham cathedral this weekend.

19th Dec, 7pm : Mayor of London’s Carols at Southwark Cathedral
This year’s Mayor’s Carol Service at Southwark Cathedral will focus on volunteering and the young people who have made a positive contribution to their local communities. City Year London volunteers aged 18-25 have been invited to the service to give readings, while volunteer choirs, The Choir of St Luke’s, Chelsea and the London Ambulance Service’s choir, The LA singers, will perform. http://www.london.gov.uk/event-meeting/2011/dec/mayors-christmas-carol-service

Christmas Carols a week before Christmas. - Note the service starts at 6:30pm, much later than the usual Sunday evensong service.

Advent Carols for the First Sunday of Advent, the start of a new church year and 4 weeks exactly before Christmas Day on Sun 25th Dec 2011. - Note the service starts at 6:30pm, much later than the usual Sunday evensong service.

Saturday 15th October, 19:30 : St Luke's Choir Concert
St Luke's Choir will be performing a concert of works by Bernstein, Rachmaninov, Kedrov, Dufay and Palestrina to launch the October Arts Festival 2011. Tickets £6 on the door.

15 - 31 October : Arts Festival at St Luke's & Christ Church
This autumn we are reviving an Arts Festival during a two week period in October. Starting on Saturday, October 15th with a concert by St Luke’s Choir, the fortnight will include a plethora of organ concerts at Christ Church, free tours of both churches, a free tour of St Luke’s Gardens and special priced lunches at our new Café Portico. All tickets for other events are available on the door.

8th September 2011 : Christian Aid Quiz
St Luke's quiz team once more took home the trophy in the annual Christian Aid quiz, by a healthy winning margin. Yay!

28th-31st July 2011 : Choir Tour to Tewkesbury Abbey
The Choir sang four days of services in Tewkesbury Abbey.

23rd July 2011, 6pm : Jonny Leonard Memorial Concert
An evening concert dedicated to the memory of our friend and director of music at St Luke's, Jonny. Performed by past and present members of St Luke's Church Choir and conducted by Jeremy Summerly. Friday 16th July, 12 noon : Memorial Service at St Luke's
A memorial service for Jonathan Leonard, our Director of Music. This was the London memorial service, following the service in Bristol Cathedral on 28th June.

Monday 28th June, 2pm : Jonny's Memorial Service, Bristol Cathedral
A memorial service was held for our Director of Music, Jonathan Leonard, who tragically died earlier this month.

27-28 February, 2010 : St. George's Chapel, Windsor
The choir sang all four weekend services in this prestigious building.

12 December, 2009 : Handel's Messiah
The Choir performed the complete oratorio in St Luke's Church with a professional orchestra and soloists.

July 2009 : Lincoln Cathedral
The choir sang services for four days in Lincoln Cathedral.

February 2009 : Durham Cathedral
The choir sang a weekend of services in Durham Cathedral.

July 2008 : Exeter Cathedral
